“Life is not absolutely fair!” That’s been on my mind lately.

Someone people already win at the starting line since they were born, living off the achievements that others have to work their whole live for. What’s the point to hustle so hard then?

I might feel a little bit pessimistic sometimes, but hey, Bill Gate says: Fairness isn’t always there. There must always be unsatisfactory happenings in every aspect of life and learning. As long as we adapt and stick with it, we will eventually receive incredible results in return.

In the painting I used light blue to express such pessimistic feeling. However, this blue is also carrying hope, isnt it? I mean, some people do manage to turn a bad hand into a winning one! I used yellow and gold to symbolise that hope.

“Life is not fair, get used to it” is another classic quote from Bill Gates.

Maybe we all have different lessons and missions to work on coming into this world. Who decides who was dealt with a bad hand or good hand in their lives? The only thing we need to do is to focus on ourselves, to keep growing and persevering, and become stronge enough to protect our loved ones, and to earn the relative fairness for ourselves. Perhaps this is the meaning of fairness!

Constantly complaining and don't insist on changing will not get you anywhere. Just waiting for someone to come redeem you? I am so sorry, but no one is coming to rescue you!

「人生沒有絕對的公平」，這個是我近來的一個想法

有些人一出生便贏在起跑線，是別人一輩子努力的成就，所以我們那麽拼命幹嘛呢？

有時感覺有點悲觀，但Bill Gates 說過：「公平不是總存在的，在生活學習的各個方面總有一些不能如意的地方。但只要適應它，並堅持到底，總能收到意想不到的成效。」

所以畫中，我用了淺色的藍色去表達這種悲觀的感覺，但還是有希望的，不是嗎？ 現實中，的確也有人把一手爛牌逆轉，成爲人生贏家。

畫中也用了了黃色與金色去表達這種希望。

“ Life is not fair, get used to it.” 這也是Bill Gates 説過的。

或許，我們每個人來到這個世界上都有不同的課題與使命，一手的爛牌與好牌有由誰去定義它呢？我們只需要專注自己，努力進步，堅持到底， 努力成長，變强大，届時保護到自己身邊愛的人，為自己賺取相對的公平，或許這就是意義。

一直抱怨又不改變，你只會永遠是接受不公平的那一方。等待救贖嗎？抱歉！沒有人會來救贖你。
